VEPICCHIORDE

Vepicchiorde, the shoe and bag collection, was a collaborative effort between the team at Zapateria in Marikina and me. Within a span of two months, we successfully designed and manufactured this project, which is the most significant one. The team's hard work and dedication were evident in the photoshoot for posters and a fashion walk, Eskaparate, in April 2024 to showcase our designs.

The designs, initially sketched by hand and later refined using Procreate to achieve the desired color palette. Additionally, the designs were recreated in 3ds Max to visualize and refine the original design, further enhancing the products' appeal.

BLOOM BOOM

This is a product of a requirement for my undergraduate degree in Industrial Design. This is a thesis study that focuses on the problem of waste pollution that focuses on Pasig River, where it is the main waterway that is visible in Metro Manila, and it is one of the considered contributors to the ocean waste pollution in Asia. It is to note that ongoing developments and efforts are being made for tourism, the Esplanade. This is a preview of the sketches and renders.

Effective waste management is essential for restoring polluted rivers like the Pasig. It involves collecting and segregating non-biodegradable waste for material recovery. This study identifies inefficiencies in current practices and suggests improved waste collection and segregation strategies. Enhancing these protocols can boost waste recovery and reduce pollution levels, contributing to the long-term rehabilitation of the river and establishing a sustainable model for urban water management.

The study presents an innovative trash barrier to improve waste collection in the Pasig River for ecological restoration. This durable floating system adapts to varying water conditions, effectively capturing debris. Its modular design, with trapezoidal components, can be arranged in circular or hexagonal configurations to enhance waste collection. A pulling mechanism and trap net system help gather floating waste, while its scalable design allows for deployment across various river sections, offering a flexible solution for urban water pollution.

GREENSTOP

Conventional designs often lack climate resilience and sustainability. This can be improved by redesigning waiting sheds with green technologies and adaptive materials to cut emissions and boost community resilience. Including vertical gardens, rainwater collection, and other features encourages environmental restoration and energy efficiency.  Additionally, these waiting sheds can foster ecological awareness and promote community engagement in sustainable living. These improvements, incorporating eco-friendly designs and climate-adaptive features, increase catastrophe risk reduction and encourage community involvement and environmental education. Reimagining waiting sheds as green, multifunctional features can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient urban landscape. Waiting shelters can enhance city life by acting as venues for local art exhibits, sustainability campaigns, and urban greening projects.

Padayon

Inspired by the Balangay’s historical importance as a vessel of connection and survival, the bench aims to embody these qualities in a modern context. The design encourages social interaction and community gathering, much like the Balangay’s role in bringing people together. It also serves as an educational piece, sparking interest in Filipino maritime history and the legacy of the Caraga region.

eSwifilex

This is a personal mobility device designed to make daily travel more comfortable, stable, and efficient. It includes a built-in seat to help riders stay comfortable on longer trips, and it features a stronger motor and battery for better speed and performance on different types of roads. This project focuses on solving common problems in urban transportation by combining smart design with user-friendly features. MOLTEN WAVES

Molten Waves is a visionary design concept born from a form creation that struck me while watching Disney's Elemental. This innovative approach involves crafting a product within the form, resulting in the transformation into a specific product—such as the impressive adaptation into a rice cooker, in my case.

The process begins with shaping the concept using clay, which is then outlined in a black space to visualize the forms. The chosen product is sketched, and the idea is transferred onto the selected forms. This design is then depicted on paper and 3D-modelled using Shapr3D, with the aid of AutoCAD for technical drawings.

BamKisa OraGlow

This project is about a light fixture made out of bamboo. I submitted this design to DOST-FPRDI for a contest. The design aims to have a function beyond just lighting. It combines a ceiling light fixture with a clock. The design process, which was a testament to our dedication, was challenging and involved the use of Shapr3d and AutoCAD.

EMLUX SOFA SET

The design concept of this luxurious sofa set was meticulously crafted to achieve an optimal blend of extravagance and comfort. It is arranged to offer a visually stunning appearance while prioritizing ultimate relaxation and user satisfaction. The design process entailed the utilization of Shapr3d with AutoCAD to envision this concept.

RADIO DESIGN

The design concept of this handheld radio prioritizes portability, user-friendly interface, compact size, lightweight materials, and ergonomics for comfort that complements the design concept by enhancing its practicality and functionality and appeal to a broader range of users. The aesthetic prototype is a valuable tool for visualizing and understanding the size components of the product.

FLASHLIGHT DESIGN

This concept is a compact, easy-to-hold torch light designed for comfort and portability. This torchlight, with its sleek design and practical functionality, is perfect for a variety of situations. It features a user-friendly interface and easy operation. A traditional render is completed separately to visualize the idea efficiently for a quicker process.

FAUCET DESIGN

The faucet design is meticulously crafted, combining creative and innovative features with sleek, clean lines, resulting in a modern, minimalist aesthetic that sets it apart. Its design prioritizes functionality and emphasizes a stylish, contemporary appearance that can complement bathroom decor, making it a versatile choice for those seeking a blend of practicality and aesthetic appeal. This concept design are the stimulating beginning of our concept ideation project, which was created with traditional sketches and technical drawings.

CONSOLE TABLE DESIGN

This design project focuses on creating a console table I made using Shapr3D for creativity and development. I aim to let creativity and the software's features guide the design process, resulting in an innovative, aesthetic, and practical table suitable for modern living spaces. The approach allows for rapid modelling, testing, and refinement to create a unique and functional piece of furniture.

COASTER IN RESIN

This project is a creative endeavor concentrating on the innovative utilization of sawdust resin. Embracing a broad scope of freedom concerning the final product, I designed a unique piece that resonated with my taste. Despite a few noticeable mistakes, the result was a stunningly crafted coaster that showcased meticulous attention to detail in my preference. This endeavor provided me with a practical accessory for my daily life and a fulfilling experience in exploring the vast possibilities of using unconventional materials like sawdust resin in crafting everyday objects.

FANTA HIP FLASK

In the initial stages of our project, we focused on conceptualizing a custom-designed hip flask tailored explicitly for a particular branded beverage. This project involved an extensive exploration of materials with varying levels of flexibility and durability to understand their unique characteristics and to uncover their potential applications in the design process.
